Marco Brugts

The well-known Dutch artist Piet Mondriaan (1872-1944), a prominent member of artist group De Stijl, is best known for his geometric, abstract works with bright colors. Like many artists he could appreciate the headstrong character of cats. He therefore took his tomcat with him on his travels. This digital painting is an ode to his cat, for which one of McRoa's cats willingly modelled.
